How Self-efficacy is Influenced in End-user Programming:

An important question to ask is whether or not the uneven distribution of women and men in IT development affects the resulting software and whether there are elements within the traditional design of software that disadvantage women. The focus of a number of studies on end-user programming is women’s and men’s self-efficacy before and after using several systems specific to end-user programming.
