The 3R Method is an often-used and well proven method for gender-equality integration.
The method poses a number of challenging questions, for example, “What is the situation in your organisation: Do you contribute to improving gender equality between men and women, or, in the worst case, to cementing stereotypical gender patterns?”
Information about a problem is collected by mapping the relative proportions of men and women in the area being examined (R1, representation) and how time and money are distributed between men and women (R2, resources). The results of this quantitative mapping are later analysed in the third “R” – Realities.
